Studio Portraits
General:
I aim to provide you with an enjoyable photo-shoot, as well as photos that you will treasure for a lifetime. Your best shots will be when you are relaxed, so feel free to bring a CD of your favourite music to get you in the mood. I don’t believe in charging the earth for photographs. I believe everyone has the right to feel special for a day and have photos to cherish without breaking the bank.
I use a small studio set up, which means my running costs are low and I can pass these savings on to you. This is how I can deliver professional results at a fraction of the cost of a large studio. The space is ideal for individual portraits, couple shots, families and baby pictures. For larger family groups (more than 5 people) a larger space would be needed so please let me know so that I can find a suitable location (there may be an extra cost to rent a larger studio or alternatively we can get some fantastic photographs outside)
Little Ones:
I love children and when doing shoots with little ones I want to make sure they enjoy themselves as much as possible so I can capture their wonderful smiles. I find that music can help relax your child so let me know what they like, nursery rhymes, Disney songs or the theme tune to Dora the explorer! If you have your own CD to bring, even better.
Sometimes we get a few tears so I try to keep these shoots short. Equally we may run slightly over if there have been a few tears and we need a little longer to help your child to relax and to get the shots. There is no extra charge if we need a little more time on the day for little ones.
It’s a good idea to bring a couple of outfits but be aware that the shoot ends when little one gets fed up, not when we have got through all the outfits!
If your child is sick on the day of your shoot, please consider rescheduling. Your photos should be cherished, happy memories and if your child is unwell it will show in the pictures. You don't want to be looking back and thinking "they were so poorly that day".
Maternity:
A photo shoot is a great way to celebrate your pregnancy. This shoot is all about making you feel special. There is absolutely no need to be nude or in lingerie. Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable and shows off your beautiful bump. You may wish to bring a few different outfits and just see how comfortable you feel on the day.
If you have bought any baby shoes, bring them along as we can get a lovely shot, which includes them, or feel free to bring any other items that are significant to you. You are welcome to bring your partner along as well for some couple shots.
Fashion & Boudoir:
Boudoir or lingerie shoots are all about showing your sensual side. These can be shot in the studio or from the comfort of your own bedroom and make the perfect gift to yourself or for your partner. Please let me know if you would like a professional hair and make up artist for your shoot. (Please note there is an extra charge for hair and makeup).
